New England Regional Quasar and AGN Meeting

This one-day meeting is held annually in May, rotating between the six sponsoring institutions and occasional other sites with the aim of promoting interaction and collaboration between those working on various aspects of Active Galaxies and Quasars in and around the Boston area. It is always a relaxed and highly enjoyable meeting where students and established scientists can mingle and converse, and presenters can try out new and speculative ideas. Everyone from the Boston and New England area is welcome.

  • The Annual New England Regional Quasar/AGN Meeting for 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. While this year's would have been the 30th meeting, next year marks the 30th anniversary of the first meeting at MIT, Cambridge in May 1991. We will doubly celebrate in 2021!
